The MAIN EVENT has been set for MMA SHOWDOWN and we are in for an incredible showcase of MMA action! Terry Balboa (3-0) who fights out of City Gym in Adelaide, will be taking on Queensland’s MMA veteran, Greg ‘The Tarantula’ Atzori (MMA 11-4) from Integrated Martial Arts. Balboa holds a black belt in Muay Thai, a Purple Belt in Jujitsu and has trained with some of the best in the world including the Korean Zombie, of UFC fame, and Australian Kickboxing icon Steve Fielding. Atzori is also no stranger to MMA fighting and has a very notable win/loss record. He specialises in grappling and jiu jitsu and has held the lightweight title after an impressive win over Nick Robbins from a rear naked choke to capture the Fight World Cup Lightweight Title.  He’s also well known for bring a grinder as he likes to go the distance with his opponents. Most recently Aztori is coming off a decision loss and is looking to take it to Balboa to get back into the winning column. Balboa, who is considered one of SA’s finest and most seasoned MMA fighters, currently stands undefeated in MMA and is seeking to continue his dominant streak. This is a match not to be missed, and is sure to blow the roof off the house!
